Patrick Boucheron is PROVULCO’s founder and chairman. From a very young age, Patrick was introduced to the world of conveyor belts by his father, who was the first to bring the Sempertrans brand to France. Before setting up PROVULCO in 1999, Patrick occupied various sales-related roles at Sempertrans. In 2010, he sold PROVULCO’s servicing arm to the French group Netco to focus on PROVULCO’s conveyor belt retail operations.
Bertrand Heckel is PROVULCO’s Managing Director. After he left the Total oil and gas company in 2000, Bertrand became Head of Global Sales at conveyor belt manufacturer Sempertrans. At the same time, he occupied the posts of Sempertrans Production Site Manager, France as well as Head of SMFN, Sempertrans’ installation and maintenance arm based in northern France. In 2017, he joined Rema Tip Top, taking over the position of Head of Global Sales – Belting, before returning to PROVULCO in 2019.
Éric Virbel is PROVULCO’s Technical Director. Eric began his career in 1987 at the R & D unit of French conveyor belt manufacturer Kleber, which at that time was part of the Michelin Group. In 1991, Kleber’s conveyor belt business was bought by Sempertrans and Eric became Head of Manufacturing Engineering. In 2000, he managed the company’s newly-acquired factory in Bełchatów, Poland during its initial transitional phase before taking over management of the French production site. He then took on the position of Head of Global Manufacturing Operations and was also in charge of Architectural and Engineering-related tasks (A&E) for specialist conveyor belting. His most notable projects included the Flying Belt installed by Agudio at the Holcim Barroso plant in Brazil. From 2014 to 2017, Eric was Chairman of the Technical Committee on French conveyor belt standards.
